Spicy Crunchy Mixture

Spicy Indian mixture featuring sev, boondhis,peanuts and curry leaves tossed in subtle spices.

  • 2 boxes Rice Krispies
  • 1 box Spanish redskin roasted peanuts
  • 1 box salted cashew pieces
  • 1 pkt sunflower seeds
  • 1 pkt pumpkin seeds
  • 2 handfull raisins
  • 1 pkt potato stix Kroger brand
  • 40 thai green chilies finely chopped
  • 2 TBS Saunf
  • ¼ Curry Leaves


  • In a hot wok or kadai.
  • Dry roast curry leaves in low heat. Set aside.
  • Add raisins, pinch of salt, pinch of chilli powder. Set aside.
  • Roast saunf, set aside.
  • Dry roast chopped green chilies with 1 tsp water until dry and flakes form. Set aside.
  • Break up potato stix into smaller pieces.
  • Mix all roasted and store bought ingredients in a big Ikea steel mixing bowl.
  • Keep in the oven for 15-20 mins at 350F. Mix every 5 mins, until golden and crispy.



Note: No added oil, but potato stix are deep fried in oil, peanuts and cashew nuts are roasted in little oil.
