Quinoa Upma & Chutney
Quinoa upma is a nutritious, hearty upma variant made with nutty quinoaseeds, vibrant seasonings and heathy mixed veggies. Make it for breakfast orbrunch!

- 1 cup Quinoa
- 1 cup Green beans diced,
- 1 cup Green peas
- 1 cup Carrots diced
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger Finely diced
- 1-2 Green Chillies Finely diced
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 Lime
- Cilantro
- Salt to taste
Mini Colored Pepper Chutney:
- Airfry or bake papers at 350F for 10-12 mins
- 1 Tablespoon Chana dal dry roasted
- 1 Tablespoon Urad dal dry roasted
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin dry roasted
- 1 Teaspoon soft tamarind pits removed
- 2-5 Red Chilis dry roasted
- 1 bunch cilantroi
- a pinch of hing
10 min recipe in IP:
Add Quinoa with 1:2 water along with a hint of turmeric & salt to inner pot of IP. Use a steamer and add beans, peas, carrots.
Add 1 Tablespoon Ginger, finely diced.
Add 1-2 Green chilis, finely diced.
Add few curry leaves (optional).
Close IP and steam for High Pressure, 2 mins.
Once time is up, allow to sit for 5 mins and Quick Release (QR) Pressure.
Allow to cool completely! Fluff with a fork!
Add juice of 1 lime or 1 lemon.
Add salt to taste, chopped cilantro and dry roasted seasoning.
Serve with chutney!
