My Amma's Protein Powder Recipe

Ingredients
  

3 C dry rosted whole wheat flour

3 C dry roasted, raagi flour

1/4 C dry roasted, black chana (chickpeas)

1/4 C dry roasted, green moong

1/4 C dry roasted, horse gram

1/4 C dry roasted, foxtail millet (navane)

1/4 C dry roasted, quinoa

1/4 C dry roasted, barley

1/4 C dry roasted, Sabudana

1/4 C doasted black gram (dalia)

1/4 C dry roasted, flax seeds

    Optional Nuts:

    1/4 C dry roasted, peanuts

    1/4 C dry roasted, cashews

    1/4 C dry roasted, almonds

    1/4 C dry roasted, pistachio

      Flavorings:

      1-2 tsp Ginger powder - to taste

      1-2 tsp Cardamom - to taste

        Instructions
         

        • Dry roast each ingredient individually
          Combing all ingredients and powder in a high speed blender until very fine powder is achieved.
          Uses: Make laddus (truffels) with dates & nuts, use in smoothies, use over oatmeal for breakfast, make a drink (kanji)!
